For mobile robot localisation I studied the subjects and worked with the sensors below:

  • Localisation algorithms
  • Sensor characteristics and statistics, data fusion
  • Laser Range Scanners
  • Global Positioning Systems
  • Odometry sensors
  • Monocular vision

Beyond localisation I'm also interested in the design and programming of automatic control and navigation software and remote operation interfaces.

Currently, I'm working with project RESOLV-REconstruction Using Scanner Laser and Video, where I designed the localisation system. The RESOLV page contains information and links, whilst the localisation page introduces the solution and links to my publications and on-line presentations.
