The Acqua Matrix show is an allegory to the Earth's destiny, displayed on a large air balloon*. The images turned around the balloon, so everyone around the dock could see it. The show starts with the sound of several ship horns and then the ignition of the balloon, inflating it over the waters [1]. Then the dawn of life on Earth flows in front of us: first the formation of the planets [2], then life on the sea, the fishes, the reptiles, the birds and the mammals [3]. It's now time for humans to enter the story, initiating the civilization process [4]. Modern times are happy and colourful [5], but also bitter and agressive [6]. Pursuing this lifestyle, humans will destroy all forms of life and Earth itself [7]. But some will escape this cataclism; the fundamental egg [8] contains the survivors and all human knowledge. It will protect them in their return to the sea (the Oceans Pavilion [9]) to restart the history of life on Earth. And their message is: recycling is the key to survival. The final fireworks [10] heralds an optimistic answer: people understood the message. |
